Booking Enquiry FAQs
How do we book a meeting with you to see more of your work?
Give me a call, drop me an email or use my contact form to get in touch. I’m free Monday to Thursday to visit you. The most popular time to visit is after 7.00 pm in the evening. I pop round, show you more of my work, some wedding albums and discuss how I work. I show you album so you can see whole weddings in print. I don’t try, push or expect you to order an album.
The purpose of the meeting is just to show you more of my work to ensure that I can provide what your looking for from your wedding photographs.
I’m free throughout the day and I’m happy to meet you somewhere for a coffee.
What do we need to do to book you as are wedding photographer?
To make a booking you need to sign a wedding photography agreement. The agreement has the full details of what I’m offering you and the exact cost. There are no hidden costs. Along with a signed agreement there is a booking fee of £200. I don’t ask for an excessive booking fee amount. However, it’s important to note, the booking fee isn’t refundable if you cancel your wedding date. There are exceptions to this rule but that would be a decision taken on a case by case basis.
How many photographs will we get?
I don’t set a number of images per wedding except for my “Package 4 Lite”. I photograph what’s happening. So I can’t predict the amount of images. It just depends on the number of hours I’am with you, the weather, the location, how many guests you are having, is there any entertainment provided and how much you want to be photographed for. As a rough guide there will be at least 350 to 450 images on your USB photographing the morning preparations through to the first dance.
Pre Wedding Photography FAQs
How long before the wedding should we book our pre wedding photography session?
Two to three months before your wedding date is the best time to enjoy your pre wedding photography session.
Things to think about:
The weather – the best time to create photographs is in sunlight an hour before sunset (the golden hour). Days can be cancelled due to rainy weather or the threat of it. You can’t have that much fun getting rained on. For this reason alone, these sessions can be cancelled at short notice.
What to wear – smart casual is great or whatever makes you feel comfortable. What would you like to see yourself in when you are looking at your images?
When can we book our session?
Sessions are available Monday to Thursday. The rest of the week I need to keep my calendar clear for weddings.
Where can we go for our pre wedding photographs?
I suggest somewhere that has meaning to you. That might be where your proposal was, it could be your wedding venue, where you first met or where you went on your first date. In the event, ifyou can’t think or somewhere or they are too far away we have lots of great locations in Norfolk. From the coast to the parks.
Suggested Pre Wedding Locations in Norwich and Norfolk
- Cromer Beach
- Yaxham Sands
- Wells Next the Sea
- Sheringham Park
- The UEA Broad
- Whitlingham Park
- Thetford Forest
- Weybourne Railway Station
Post Wedding Day FAQs
How long do we have to wait before we get our wedding photographs?
I aim to have your photographs edited ready for you to view two to three weeks after your wedding day.
How do we get our wedding photographs?
Your wedding photographs will be supplied to you on a USB. I also upload them to an online gallery that you can share with your family and friends. Your USB will be sent the same day I publish your wedding photographs online.
Do we have the copyright to the images?
No professional photographer will give you the copyright to the images. But what does that mean exactly? It simply means you can’t sell your images for profit or allow a third party to use them. You can print them as much as you want and I’m happy for you to share them with your family for personal use. You can create your own wedding albums. If any wedding service providers ask you for photographs, please direct their request to me.
If you need the copyright to the images this can be negotiated separately. For more information about your wedding photographs please see this blog post.
