Mark & Fiona
You can be attracted to different wedding venues for different reasons but when it come to St Giles House Hotel in Norwich then it’s likely for the art deco interior and the wood panelled walls. Mix that will formal evening wear and you have a classic wedding that’s going to look fantastic. I find, when photographing weddings at location with wood panelling, it gives the wedding photographs really attractive warm tones.
So St Giles House this was the location for Fiona and Mark’s wedding. There were many personal art deco touches that added to the interior of the venue. Such as the brides art deco nails and art deco table decorations. The low light added to the atmosphere. After Fiona and Mark were married, guest enjoyed drinks and some food before some quick, formal wedding photographs. After the emotional wedding speeches, the band setup for the evening wedding reception. The guests were unaware but the bride sings in a band and performed for the wedding guests which was a big success. Many friends and family at the evening reception had never heard Fiona sing before and it was a special surprise. Please browse through some of the images from their day together below.
If you are considering this location for your wedding day I can highly recommend it. The food it excellent and for those more adventurous among you, its a lot of fun, to go out for wedding photographs in the city centre when the light falls.
